Since Peace and Plenty opened its doors to guests in 2013 many people have enjoyed its hospitality and the fantastic location on Great Oyster Bay with its vista to the majestic Freycinet Peninsula.

In fact, many of those guests have returned, not just once, but multiple times. P&P has gained a reputation for being the go-to sanctuary for those special occasions. Just in the last few months we have hosted two very important birthdays and three significant anniversaries.

With its location, convenient internal lay-out and quality amenities, P&P is an ideal destination for those seeking intimacy, relaxation and connection – with nature and with one another.

Tribal Bakhtiar Rug

Over the years, P&P has become a family. So, we have introduced this regular newsletter to keep the family up to date with what’s been happening and with the constant improvements designed to make our guests’ experiences even more special.

One of the big changes was our two sparkling new bathrooms, including the creation of an en suite for the bedroom next to the pool. More recently two tribal rugs from Central Asia – one underneath the coffee table and one under the dining table – have made the living/dining/kitchen area warmer and cosier with a dash of colour. And new ceiling lighting throughout the house has not only provided more light, but also added some quiet sophistication.

Nespresso machine

We are always trying to improve the kitchen amenities, but the new Nespresso machine with an awesome range of options is an especially exciting addition for coffee-lovers.

Outside, on the ocean side, we have carried out extensive landscaping and developed new and more attractive garden areas, all designed to complement the existing coastal dunes.

Sweet, crispy apples from Peace & Plenty's garden

After an amazing summer harvest of cherries, berries and tomatoes, the fresh produce garden is currently boasting a sensational crop of especially sweet apples in addition to carrots and beetroots, while our new gardener, Josh, prepares it for winter vegetables.

After a summer of unusually high rainfall, all 5 acres of the property are blooming. As we change seasons, P&P is ready to welcome new and returning guests to enjoy the unique drama, colour and romance of winter by the ocean,

Garden blooming!
